WELCOME
I am passionately committed to helping you thrive. I am here to be a safe, trusted support by listening, understanding, and validating the experiences of simply being human.
Throughout the last ten years, my professional experiences include working with individuals of all ages across various backgrounds in hospital, school, home, and office settings. These opportunities allowed me to work directly with diverse populations including individuals with mental health/behavioral issues, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance abuse issues, trauma from physical/emotional/sexual abuse or loss of a loved one, recent incarceration, homelessness, as well as individuals who identify as LGBTQ+.
Through these experiences, I have gained an understanding that any person has the ability to overcome life’s obstacles, find meaning in life’s challenges, attain holistic wellbeing, and feel empowered by their own strength to be vulnerable and genuine in the process of therapy. I strongly believe the connection between humans in a safe, trusting space creates the opportunity for healing and positive change.
My goal in therapy is to facilitate growth in clients to be able to apply therapeutic skills in their daily lives. I desire providing quality therapy from a strengths-based person-centered approach. Within my sessions, I include mindfulness-based interventions and expressive therapeutic techniques such as writing. Collaboratively, we will work together to identify personal challenges and pain, explore personal strengths and values, and reach a place of inner-peace.
I look forward to our therapeutic journey!
